A 17-year-old boy was killed in a single vehicle accident on Tuesday just west of town. The Colorado State Patrol identified the teen as Eric D’Ambrosia of Gardner. According to the Pueblo Cheiftain, a patrol report states that excessive speed was considered a contributing factor in the crash. The accident happened on Road 550 about 3 miles west of town.
