Many government agencies and private organizations are devoted to stopping the problem of impaired driving, but what is really needed is for every driver to truly comprehend the danger involved every single time they get behind the wheel after drinking or using recreational drugs.

The victim was entering the interstate when an unidentified vehicle moved into the lane in front of the victim’s vehicle. The victim swerved to avoid the vehicle striking the concrete barrier and rolling the vehicle. The second vehicle did not stop after the accident. When someone has been seriously injured in a car crash, getting prompt medical attention is often the difference between life and death. “Therefore, it is viewed by many as a reckless disregard for human life when a driver fails to stop and give aid”, said Clearwater, Florida hit-and-run accident attorney Jim Dodson.
